*James enjoys playing classic rock and country, current alternative country, folk, and original material. Early influences were wide-ranging including James Taylor, The Outlaws, Elton John, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Springsteen, and John Denver. At 18, he joined Rapid Transit, and played drums throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa. After attending college, he played drums for The Shakers and experienced larger venues including The Wisconsin State Fair and Summerfest. After having played drums for nearly 25 years, he picked up the reigns as a front man. In addition to singing lead, he re-introduced myself to rhythm guitar and fronted the Midlife Crisis Band for 16 years. When Midlife Crisis ended their run, he jumped back in to the music scene but this time as a solo artist.
