*I grew up in East Madison and Deerfield, WI. and have always had a passion for music. Early influences were wide-ranging and include Elvis, James Taylor, Frank Sinatra, KISS, The Outlaws, Elton John, The Stones, The Beatles, Springsteen, and John Denver. My first "paid gig" was around 4th grade and in the basement of my house where I joined friends in pantomiming to KISS records on drums for mostly neighborhood kids and anyone else they could get to come. When I moved to Deerfield, WI, I was fortunate enough to have two friends in the 5th grade that played bass and guitar. We formed a band and began playing out at 11 years old; mostly family functions and private parties, but enough to ignite a love of performing. The next 10 years were a blur of learning experiences and fun. At 18, I joined my first road band, Rapid Transit, and played drums throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa. After attending college and earning a teaching degree, I joined a successful local band called The Shakers and experienced larger venues including The Wisconsin State Fair and Summerfest. After having played drums for nearly 25 years, I had a desire to get even closer to the audiences and picked up the reigns as a front man. In addition to singing lead, I re-introduced myself to rhythm guitar - something I hadn't played for years. I fronted the Midlife Crisis Band for 16 years developing my vocals, guitar playing, and an on-stage presence that is professional, comfortable, and fun. When Midlife Crisis ended their run, I was anxious to jump right back in to the music scene but this time as a solo artist. Today, I am currently doing what I've always dreamed of doing; performing tunes of my own, and songs by artists I've been inspired by and people know and love.
